Yes, Brewery Tours are popular and often sell out on weekends, so it’s best to book early.
No—this is a 21+ tour. All guests must bring a valid ID for entry and tastings at breweries.
Bring a valid 21+ ID (required for all brewery stops), a charged phone/camera, and some extra cash or card if you’d like to purchase additional drinks or merchandise.
Stops are selected from the best breweries in Kansas City and are finalized the week of your tour. Your guide will confirm the exact lineup at check-in.
The KC Brewery Tour makes 3 brewery stops, each featuring a curated tasting of local craft beers. Expect a mix of styles such as pilsners, lagers, IPAs, stouts, and seasonal specialties.
Yes! In addition to the included samples, you’ll have the option to buy pints, flights, or to-go cans/bottles at each brewery.
Public Brewery Tours begin and end at Made in KC – 325 E 31st St, Kansas City, MO 64108 (Martini Corner). Look for the Barley Bus in the lot west of the store.
The Brewery Tour lasts about 3 hours, with time to enjoy tastings at each stop.
Yes—many of our partner breweries share behind-the-scenes insights into how their beers are crafted, and some tours may include a look at the brewing equipment.
Some brewery stops may have food available (from kitchens or food trucks), but most do not. We recommend eating prior to your tour. You’re welcome to bring your own snacks on the bus.
Yes—most breweries sell cans, bottles, or growlers to-go, so you can bring home your favorites. Just remember, open containers aren’t allowed off the bus.
Public tours run weekends with a set itinerary and meeting point. Private tours (15+ guests) can run any day of the week, with fully customizable stops, schedule, and custom pickup/drop-off available.
Public tours: Cancel 72+ hours in advance for store credit; no refunds within 72 hours. Private tours: A $200 deposit is non-refundable. The balance is due 30 days before the tour and becomes non-refundable at that time.
If a tour doesn’t reach the minimum required attendance, we’ll offer to reschedule you, switch you to another tour, or provide a full refund.
Yes—tours operate in all weather unless conditions are unsafe. In that case, we’ll reschedule or issue credit.
No-shows are non-refundable.

Please note: All public tours require a minimum number of guests to run. While most tours meet this minimum with no issue, in the rare event that we don’t reach it, we’ll contact you at least 24 hours in advance with options, which may include rescheduling, transferring to another tour, or a full refund.
